The core game is a very fun, very solid turn based RPG. However, since being bought by Scopely a couple years back, the P2W element has gotten so bad and continues to get worse. Essential resources artificially bottlenecked and character progression is so slow that it’s so so obvious they are trying to frustrate their players into paying. Power creep is so bad that decent characters released in the last year are already obsolete. And the prices they want people to pay for pathetic amounts of resources? Hoo boy. It costs more to bring a character up one rank than it costs for a AAA console game
