Let me start by saying I really love this app and use it weekly, even several times a week. The maps have helped me get back on track when my rambling exploring has been too rambly and it has helped me discover new awesome places to hike with my dog. In addition, it can be really helpful when I’m following something that is, for instance, a 6 mile hike but I don’t want to go that far, I can see shortcuts that will make it more the length I am after - though sometimes they are more adventurous than I expected!
