I download this app to measure a tree so that I could fall it. My estimation was it was at least 40 feet tall. Using the app one time it gave me about 4 inches and the other time it gave me 25 feet. There is no instructions to tell you how to do this. This app was not worth my time. I did better with estimating using a piece of rope from a distance and measuring it vertically, then horizontally and then measuring that horizontal point to the base of the tree.
