I don’t really understand the difference, but I know what I like. NYT just makes the best puzzles. Some of them are just so creative in how they work a theme into the grid. The great thing about the app is that it’s fun knowing what your records are. The stats show clearly how Monday is the easiest day, then the solve times stair step upward through the rest of the week. It’s a great feeling to know your time is faster than your average for that day of the week, but the best is setting a new low solve time record. I look forward to each creative puzzle and prefer not to start my day with
