Optic Complex

The app works to my satisfaction pretty well but the new feature that opens the Wordplay crossword column inside the app is flat out bad and unhelpful. I liked being able to open the column in a browser window so I could quickly swipe back and forth between Safari and NYT Games when I needed a hint. Now I have to tap to open Info then tap to open Column then scroll down to what I need then back out and back out again, and by the time I’m back to the puzzle I’ve forgotten the answer/hint I went to find. And if I want to open the column myself in a webpage I have to go search for it then figure
