This app would be 5 stars if it would add the feature to keep the screen on while filming. If your phone has “auto-dim/lock” enabled the app does not account for the fact that it will dim the screen and then stop recording once the screen turns off. A lot of apps force-disable this feature while using the app so that the screen stays on, this should be a priority feature of a filming app! To constantly tap the screen to keep recording every 30 seconds (or however long you set the auto lock feature) is extremely annoying when trying to film. Accidentally automatically updated after I held onto the old version since the “upgrade” and it’s horrible, please change the app back to how it was! Way too cluttered with the new version! Also, what is up with removing Columbus Day and replacing it with “Indigenous People’s Day”??? Is this app racist against Italians?? This is a celebrated holiday in the FDNY with a parade and everything, this is absolutely ridiculous!
