When I got this app over a year ago, it was great. Videos are excellent, the UI was lovely, I had so much control. I loved that I could choose to do vocab when I wanted. I could go through all the words I need to brush up on before diving into something else, on my terms. The new UI has changed this. Now I can't just do vocab until I've reviewed all my words. I can do one or two vocab reviews of 10 words before the vocab section decides for me that it is time to learn more new things. I have been using discord basically since the beginning. It's gone through a lot of changes, and the vast majority have been tolerable, but the latest update has turned discord into an app I use solely because my friends do. If another messenger app came out, I'd swap in a heartbeat. The extra dark background on dark mode is harsher against the white text. It causes eye strain. The notifications tab, one of 4 tabs on the bottom bar, doesn't even get the badge when you get a notification. The badge shows up on either the server tab, or the DMs tab.
