You can easily do LOTS of stuff that’s impossible in Apple’s factory home app and lots of what it allows for is more obvious and logical than Apple’s implementation. A BIG downside - which is NOT the developers’ fault - is the inability to access Apple’s recently exposed HomePod sensors (humidity and temp) or, as previously mentioned, AppleTVs, leaving us to either purchase Apple hardware we can’t use the way we want or find other, generally less costly ways to achieve our goals.
