The app’s functionality and the level of detail in the nautical charts are truly impressive. However, there is a significant drawback in my view: it drains the battery extremely quickly. My iPhone 13 Pro also becomes noticeably hot, even when the app is only running in the background. Real-time use with the screen on is simply not practical unless you have a power bank to hand. In the end, the app can only be used as a reference tool rather than a live navigation aid while at sea.
