Super useful app – it has saved me a lot of time in my AMGA guide training programs. I also find myself using it a lot for planning personal backcountry ski tours. In an earlier review, it sounds like FFB Guy was using the wrong method of time estimation. The “Munter System” was probably better suited for the terrain he was considering. It gives an estimate of 4h 4min, which is right within the range he was expecting. The “Chauvin System” is for sections of true, continuous Class 3 or 4 climbing.
