The ads are fake. Game is basically a tutorial neading you to build a city and wait or pay. The main attraction - minigore style battles don’t actually look like that, you are closed on a static map with meaningless enemies and they last short. There is no brain involved, no freedom, no story, just calls to do in-app purchases at every point. The game spends more rime forcing you to “upgrade” a city, handing out meaningless rewards than on actual gameplay.

I would like, if it could figure out that a website (fx GitHub) already has its own dark mode, and then let it do its thing. Other than that, works exactly like you'd expect it to work. Good value for money.

In app purchases and timer based mechanics are not only a good way to milk more money. They also make the game less interesting. SimCity in known for its mexhanics and this iteration changed them and modernized them in a way that is shameful for this franchise...
