I wanted to try in in case Americans really disappeared from TikTok but the fact that it’s not possible to completely change the language to English in the app is annoying. You can’t always change some of it to English, but when you close down the app and open it you have to go ind and change to English again, every time. So I deleted my profile again but even with having the language in English, all the text for the cancellation process was in Chinese so I have no idea what reason I gave for canceling or what I marked as read or anything. Fingers crossed it’s actually getting deleted.
