I have 6 Kasa smart switches in my home. I bought a 7th for an outdoor light that is in the second floor outside my master bedroom window. It is a location very far from the router. I had an electrician install the switch but I could not get it to connect to Wi-Fi. I called customer service but they were not able to get it to connect. The next day I got a call from kasa customer service and they asked me to click on a link and try the connection again. I felt it was safe because the email addresses we all from TP-Link. That also did not work. I sent them an email and they called the next day
