Only yesterday, I found myself having a surge of special regard for the Times. It happened when I saw a stomach-turning email ad for the New York Sun. The ad was about what a terrible newspaper the Times is. The Sun is transparently serving as a hit man for Trump and his disgusting friends. The target for the Sun’s hit: the Times. But of course. The Times tells the truth, gives the facts, and yet is open to points of view that lean towards if not sharing conservative perspectives.. I’m a news nut, so I look at quite a few other papers.
