Once in a while, they have a good deal. But it really burns me that they take credit for the savings that I had before they ever came into my life. Especially things I pay for. For instance, I am a Sam’s Club member and receive 2% back on purchases. That has been true for 20 years. But suddenly capital one thinks they are the ones that got me that 2%. They did not. Same with Walmart. Same with Costco. Be aware what they promise is not always what you get. Especially when they refer you to eBay. And the “rewards” at their site are massively overpriced.
