Since AllTrails is so proud of me completely a hike I am still on and keeps asking me to review, here goes. First, I have the paid version and will keep the subscription until it expires and then I will find a more reliable app. The app is great for day hikes but if you want a through hike over multiple days, this is not the app for you. For starters, when you are done for the day it will either save your spot or mark you as finished. While you are hiking, it will either continually kick you off and tell you are offline (which is the purpose of downloading the trail so you can use offline) and
