I love many of the elements of GroupMe, it’s very easy to connect with people and great for sports teams, student groups, and more. It makes it easy to plan events and conduct polls. That said, I can’t give it more than 2 stars because it’s annoying. You’ll get notifications for messages that don’t actually load into the app until several minutes later, which is frustrating when that message was about an important change of plans. There’s also a horrible bot and scammer problem on the app that never seems to get addressed (I and most of my friends get multiple messages a day from bots or scamm
