Why do I have to pay a dollar to receive a single SMS with my verification code. Send an email or call using data anything but why is the SMS the only option. Fix this please.

I’d rather buy iCloud storage than pay for an app that wants money to delete 12 photos in a single go . Wish I could rate it lower than one star.
