Love The Economist. Subscribed continuously since 1988. I can say with my hand on my heart that it’s changed my life, out of advertising and into conservation. But oh, the app. <Heavy sigh>. Just had to re-install the iPad app again. Continuous crashing. The iPhone app seems to struggle when not connected to wifi. Don’t these developers ever fly? Many a time I’ve downloaded an edition to read during a flight to find that … it won’t open. Always hoping these issues will be fixed. A fan

Even closing the account is difficult. Mysteriously the OTP doesn’t arrive to allow closure of the account even after multiple requests. Of course it’s impossible to talk to anyone. Email verification just into a deathloop. No phone number provided. Depressingly predictable
