Been playing this so much on my laptop. So glad it's on iOS now.

The update seemed interesting enough but it's so broken once you take a proper look at it. Pressing the "update squad" button tries to get the best overall rating, so it puts players completely out of position. For example, a 70 rated striker will replace a 50 rated defender at centre-back. And the market is so hard to understand. I hope they revert back to last seasons version soon.
