Who knows if this app does what it’s supposed to do because by the 3rd time the app asked for more money to upgrade, I deleted it. First, they immediately ask for money to upgrade for it even to be worth anything. So ok, I’m like cool, it’s cheap $4. Now I’m in the app and I forget what I needed to do, but it was yet again something that you would assume came with the app, but nope. Gotta pay $12. Then, ok, let’s set a goal. ***Update*** Babbel customer service was very helpful and redoing issue. I was refunded my annual fee and chose the lifetime option, so no more surprises. Just make sure you manage your subscription on the Babbel website, it doesn’t show up in the App Store like other recurring subscriptions. However, aside from that, my issue was corrected very quickly and the app is good. Sometimes the voice recognition is spotty. You can playback what you say and it’s correct, but you can sit there for 20 minutes and it rejects it. Then the same word will come up a few minutes later and it accepts your pron

Garbage generic app appears to be developed by a 6 year old. Completely useless. I got suckered into paying. If it weren’t so cheap I would be requesting a refund. Not worth the time that takes.
