After getting let down over and over by Rappi in Mérida, Yucatán, I’ve decided I just can’t use it anymore. First incident: We ordered McDonald’s. The app said the driver had arrived at the restaurant, but when we checked the map, he was driving away in the opposite direction. Time went by, our order sat there. We called him — he hung up, then canceled the order. Another driver was assigned and finally picked it up. By the time it got to us, it was cold and an hour and a half late.
