Great gift for someone you hate, given the amount of emails and upsells sent. They’ll spend a lot of time deleting emails. Jokes aside. The amount of email is CRAZY! Same with their upsell funnel. My wife gifted this to me, and the heritage information was nice., but the aggressive emailing and upsells ruins the experience. It’s way too much. I’d not gift this to someone because of this.

The app ignores notification settings. Everything is turned off in the app but they send them anyways. I’m switching them off at the os level for good.

It’s functionality is limited compared to others to-do apps, but the detailed thinking of how people use it, the workflow and how well thought through things are make it my preferred choice. My only complaint is I still have to go to Asana when it comes to collaborative projects. I wish there was a way to handle shared to-dos with Things: assigning home tasks to family members, assigning certain tasks to someone… etc. Besides that, as an individual to-so app. It’s perfect.
