I’m a doctor and this app has been key to my workflow in the hospital and ER for a few years now. I like the Things UI a bit better, but you can’t beet the functionality of tick tick. Particularly like the ability for to set a specific time for a task and the ability to “snooze” these reminders and they will keep annoying you until you actually do the thing. This function works better than any other app. Being able to take infinite notes on each task is also very useful. I wish the formatting in the note section was more flexible (like full markdown support) but maybe that will come.

Best to-do app i’ve found. Quite pricey but i don’t regret the purchase. It’s simple and effective. However, there is one big issue: you can’t make a heading in an area. I don’t understand why this is not a feature. There are many tasks that fall within an area that aren’t part of a project. For example, if my area is home and i need to remember to buy more dish soap and to buy a new phone charger, these are things i would like to put under the heading “things to buy” under the area “home” but i don’t want this to be a project.
