When scheduling a new repeating meeting scheduled for a date other than the date you're setting it up it will not reflect that once the meeting is confirmed. For example, today is Monday the 25th at 1 PM but you want a repeating meeting each Friday. You schedule it for Friday the 29th at 2 PM for one hour and you choose repeats weekly.
