I'm A bit late to the review party but heck this game is still worth it. Runs rock solid and looks as good as the upgraded special edition (which arguably looks a bit outdated at this point, but still... It's running on your phone for crying out loud). It's the full GTA SA game on your phone, what more is there to say? Definitely recommended! A bit better looking and pretty similar in many core mechanics, would be the more recently released 'Bully' (also from Rockstar)

Update: in the current update notes it says 'graphical improvements' although nothing seems different. Maybe except that the faces might look a tiny bit more clear to me.. Although that might also be my memory playing tricks on me. I was hoping for something more dramatic like the addition of dynamic shadows but hey, not complaining here. Everything still looks great, just not noticeably different from before. In case you haven't read a review yet, this game is worth buying! --- Update: just finished the game. It took me a while to buy this game but boy am I glad I did! In reviews this game seemed like a mindless button masher, but after playing a while, there's a lot of depth to the combat system. Learning to time your blows goes a long way in making the gameplay experience top notch. This feels more like a polished Vita/3DS game as compared to a phone game. Controls, graphics, cut-scenes, voice acting, gameplay... Everything is just top notch and way above the average mobile game. Developers of truly great mobile games are few and far between and deserve all the support they can get. In short.

I haven't played it through a lot yet but so far the game plays and looks fantastic. It's a quite unique game on iOS. I'll probably update this review once I progress a bit further.
