The app is based on registering a card number. The card number only registers if you use mag stripe (swipe). If you pay via dip (chip) or tap (contactless), it uses a randomized token and you won’t get credit. The Rock has switched to dip/contactless. While this is more secure and I’m all for it, it does mean that this app won’t allow you to accumulate rewards anymore.
