I booked for a stay for my friends and I in Mombasa but on arrival, they were not aware of our prior reservations. We were inconvenienced trying to figure out another place to stay, on short notice and wasted a lot of time moving around because booking.com didn't contact the residence to make our reservation. If you can, make bookings directly to the hotel you intend to stay at and avoid such inconveniences.
