For personal reasons I booked a weekend round trip train tickets with the wrong date (a week before I should have). I have my notifications enabled from the app. During the week of the wrong date I did not receive remainders of my coming trip. Instead, I received advertisements about a beer festival and places to visit in Asia. So I never realized that I booked the wrong ticket until I was preparing my things to go in my trip ( the week after the tickets expired).
