Fraud + Terrible Customer Support
Rider beware. I should have just taken a taxi. After an uneventful ride to the airport, where I was dropped off at the center one of the most highly surveilled places in all of America, I was charged a steep “damage fee” for supposed injury to the car door . . . 12 hours later. If you’re going to commit fraud, at least do it away from the cameras, and don’t wait several riders later. I raised those issues in a complaint to Lyft’s customer “support,” as well as the fact that the damage notification included “photos” that were in fact just those little broken image icons.
