Ovia is a good app overall, but it failed me after an early miscarriage. It’s very easy to report a birth, but the loss side feels almost nonexistent. I thought I had ended my pregnancy in the app, but I still got an email saying “Countdown to baby — 34 weeks, 1 day” along with a line that said, “Your egg has not been fertilized yet, but ovulation is coming soon.” I miscarried at 5 1/2 weeks, so getting something that mixed pregnancy countdowns with pre-ovulation info was incredibly confusing and upsetting.
