I purchased these because they are compatible with HomeKit and they are, Apple on the other hand pushed out a handy little update that basically made a hub a prerequisite, as per their greedy ways of late. Luckily I can do everything I need and more with the Kasa app. Set timers, set up scenes and all i have to do is sign into it with the same login and can access all of my smart appliances from anywhere. The energy usage is super handy as we are going off grid (100%) and this app and the handy plugs allow us to automate our entire home so zero energy goes wasted. If all apps were this goo
