It's been years and the app still completely hogs your battery. I went from 80% to 40% in less than an hour with the screen on just over half brightness. I'm bumping the rating down until this is fixed. Another annoyance I do not care for: A popup pausing my playback to ask me to turn on notifications. Why? Udemy does not serve a function that merits me handing the app the ability to hog my attention in this way. The stupid learning reminders on the web are bad enough. Leave users the hell alone and let them manage their own time.

Easily my new favourite in the series, and another big leap from the last one. I particularly loved the dollhouse level hub framing. I'm a huge fan of that sort of thing. If I recall, 3 had elements of this but but it's really been tightened down and the tedium stripped away. It's like a combination of the best bits in 1 and 3. Well done, Fireproof!

I was stunned to see the amount of crap apps get up to in the background. Even a basic scheduler app may be drowning in unwanted telemetry uploads and so many major apps send data to facebook owned domains. It's creepy as hell. I've also blocked so much of this stuff through Adguard that it has to do wonders for my battery.

If I wanted my "minimal" activity logged I'd use Microsoft software on default settings.
