I chose this app because I thought I could pay once and be done. I hate subscriptions and hidden add-ons. I was willing to pay $100+ upfront to avoid subscriptions and use the pro plan because I really enjoyed the app. After purchasing, I realized there are additional charges for AI features that feel essential even for simple edits. That really changed the value for me.
