I tried this for about a week. There are still lots of bugs in the app which, while frustrating, were not a deal breaker as I know they are still working on things. What is a deal breaker is the expectation that I would share very personal health information with a machine. And that the machine would try to act like my “coach”. Not only do I do not trust a machine to be my ‘friend’, I do not believe it to be trustworthy with anything I tell it. A machine does not have human morals, like honesty, morality or empathy. Basically, the whole experience was creepy as heck. I’m out.
