Cannot believe this app (and their website) is STILL such a disjointed mess. In the app - and a pop up tells you to open the app? Check in for your flight? Sometimes it works. Pay extra for seat selection? Maybe. Seats available now that 5 minutes later are now blocked out. Call them directly to try and purchase a seat next to your partner? Agent says “sorry they’re restricted by airport”? Um, I’m confused here BA - am I not currently speaking with BA right now? Just a joke that BA’s app is still so far behind their competition.
