Terrible app and new functionality having to verify your home. When it works, okay fine, will do it once! But telling me that my TV is not authorized while being at home and having to select “Change Home” for the exact same TV at my home is crazy!!! And no I did not move places or changed ISP or shared my account with anyone. All is the same as usual! Disney make this stupid functionality stop!

This is a typical example of LG collecting and potentially selling data from data subjects…. For no technical reasons an app to control your TV should require an account or your exact location! It’s only there to collect, abuse and sell your data. I switched back to my physical remote since this is ridiculous!

You’re forced to create an account and login again after every update and, that is weekly! An account should not be required to view, edit or sing a PDF in Acrobat as it has not been for years! And as Adobe explained the answer below they only do this to track you, the content you view and your usage of the app. For the record, tracking is not permitted without consent under the GDPR! Though I doubt their compliance as they force you to keep logging in and force to to agree to their terms or conditions. Without accepting the T&C the app is useless.
