I have used the VA going on 11 years now. I have tried to get in to see my primary care but there is only 1 provider for Springfield Il. It takes 2-3 weeks to get an appointment. In the mean time I have to use urgent care locally and that is no better than a band aid at best. I am being rated for a condition that is worsening and I can’t see why I cannot see a VA provider to get a simple referral or use a phone to get a referral for something I am being rated on.
