The app used to be alright despite some bugs and some very unintuitive UI. However, the recent updates basically killed the reliability of the Garmin ecosystem for me. Among other issues, automatic sync never works properly when using more than one device. The latest update removed the screen where you can see all your connected devices and sync them manually. Additionally, I found the app doesn't store your data on the phone and can't even show data from your connected device if you're not also connected to the internet. This makes the app useless when off the grid. And I'm not even counting
