I despise LinkedIn for various reasons, but one of the most annoying "features" is this: I come across a suggested post and start reading it. I pull iOS's control center to adjust screen brightness, I let go, and the freaking app refreshes, losing the suggested post I was reading. The app refreshes all the time, and I was never idle using it. There are various things like this that has been part of the app/website for ages. They never improved them. They seem mostly deliberate, just like the many other dark patterns and shady stuff they've had going on since the inception of this platform.

I used to be a subscriber. But meditations were voiced by someone who seemed to have never created meditations before. Long pauses of silence combined with abrupt high volume spoken guidance that is enough to make you jump just as you were winding down. Happened to me several times. But I kept going because I had paid for it. But thinking back, that was poor quality. If I am paying for it, it ought to be better than that to not make me jump mid-meditation.
