I made a restaurant reservation through TheFork. When we arrived, there was no record of our reservation. The restaurant charged us €200, yet we did not dine there. TheFork attempted to contact the restaurant but was unsuccessful. Then, I was told that I should reach out to the restaurant myself—despite the fact that your team already tried and failed to get in touch. I booked through your platform, paid, did not eat, and the reservation was not honored. Is this the service your company offers? Ghost reservations with overbooking, leaving the customer to deal with the consequences?
