I’ve been using this app (and previously the website) for years now. When it all began, it used to be a free way to share and find guitar tabs written by fellow musicians. When it first came out, the app was the quickest and easiest way to quickly look up a song’s tabs. Even when the subscription based model came out, I figured “whatever, it’s still a very useful app in order to help me figure out difficult solos from some of my favorite songs”.
