The fact that both the app on the phone and the app on the Samsung Smart TV requires the user to stop and select closed captions for each episode is criminal. Almost all the apps on the TVs and iPhones have selected the closed captions for the app in one place and once you use the settings to select the closed captions you don’t have to go back and select the option every single episode, movie or series. The app also is glitching so much that when you stop an episode at the beginning of the episode and close the app the current episode is not the first selection. Instead the user has to scroll

I would like a clear option to find what is currently playing on my NPR and how to start the show from the beginning. Clearly I would like to start from the beginning by listening all day but that’s not a real option. That’s why streaming is a game-changer for listeners/supporters. Please make a “now playing” with “start from beginning” a clear option.
