It can be addictive at times, but Matchplay consists of 3 holes, often the same hole several times in a row. Nearly every hole is a tie, so winning often comes down to a shootout, where the pay to win players win with better clubs, or it comes down to pure luck. Putting is ridiculously easy. It doesn't matter if you chip on one foot from the hole and your opponent is on the edge of the green...make it to the green and the next shot’s a freebie.
