Doctor Rhythm

Enjoyable decoding puzzler that sends you through a wide variety of ciphers and alternate alphabets from the well-known to the obscure. Several puzzles stumped me for a while, but the solution was always a cool “of course” moment. Only the last one (the final boss, so to speak) forced me to use the hints. The game does require a bit of grinding as you work letter-by- letter through the cipher text. Finding and using an on-line decoder can speed things up. One thing to watch out for when doing the required web searches: the game is popular enough that very precise search terms will auto fill

I like how this developer often enhances the standard room escape game by incorporating some kind of twist - a time leap in this case. It doesn’t add much to the difficulty, but makes the experience more exciting and even spooky. This game was average difficulty, mostly linear (ie, puzzles must be solved in a specific order). Minor quibbles: some objects were difficult to see in the dark “future” room and it took some trial and error tapping to figure out how to end the animation loops.
