My boyfriend and I recently flew from Venice to Barcelona with Ryanair, and unfortunately we experienced what appears to be a serious issue with the app. We completed online check-in through the app three days before our flight. Everything worked perfectly. The app notified us about the gate, boarding information and any updates. We successfully passed every security checkpoint using the boarding pass and QR code displayed in the app. The problem happened at the very last checkpoint before boarding the shuttle bus to the aircraft.
