Garmin have recently made it difficult to link with myfitnesspal, to try to force customers to use their own new (inferior) nutrition app for tracking calories. However they technically still keep the link possible as they want to attract users of the most popular calorie tracking app to buy their watches. Extremely unethical business practice.
