Got it to work after pressing the wrong ‘button’ for 'Config'. I was pressing the button above the word 'Config' when you need to press the word 'Config'. After connecting and testing the Play:1's, getting the sub connected took multiple tries, trying both in the native Sonos app and Sequencr. It finally took adding it in Sequencr. The Play:1's connected first time. S1 app, Playbar, Sub and 2 Play:1's. Sounds fantastic compared to just the Playbar and sub.
