Having gotten that out of the way, let's talk about what it IS. 1) It is a fine word processor – It lacks some of the power of platform packages like Word. Still, it does the job I need it to, and I have enormous confidence in the development team. 2) It is totally web-based. This means I can work with it from any system that can access the web. I can start work on my iPad on the bus, continue work on a desktop PC at work, and finish up on my Mac at home. 3) It is a catalyst for teamwork. It shares this with the rest of the Google suite. While a little too early to determine how linear it may or may not be, the lavish attention to detail and the complexity of the puzzles make for a tantalizing experience. I am only a little disappointed at the number of times I have been forced to use the assist. The eyes in the bust, for instance, are not so easily seen to be like buttons. I also think that one or two more "combining" exercises (putting together discovered items) would have better established the means of actually performing the task – it is simple enough to recognize the need, but the process is easily lost amid distractio
