The entire thing is designed like some early 2000 groupon site where you’re encouraged to click on “ad offers” (tends to then lead to signing up or purchase something) to earn points that you can use for buying chapters. Chapter prices are also inconsistent, coupled with how points are purchased/earned, it leaves a lot of random points left over. Kodansha has the rights to the series here, which gives them monopoly over how to monetize them, and it’s done in a very predatory fashion.
